Paulina Syracuse, Psy.D

Dr. Paulina Syracuse, PsyD, MS, received her Master’s in Experimental Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University and Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). She is completing postdoctoral training at the Center for Hope and Health in preparation for licensure. During her doctoral program, she worked at the Center for Cognitive Therapy and the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety where she received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP) for OCD, Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for anxiety disorders, and Habit Reversal Training for body-focused repetitive behaviors. She has also received specialized training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy – Enhanced and Family-Based Therapy for eating disorders. Most recently, she completed her doctoral internship through the Center for Brief Therapy at PCOM and MainLine Health system where she worked in an integrated behavioral health model in primary care offices implementing CBT. Paulina also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques in her work with clients.
