Robia Smith-Herman, MSW, LCSW

Robia is a Licensed Social Worker in Pennsylvania and has been working at CHH since 2015. She has experience in the treatment of trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, severe mental illness, and eating disorders. She obtained a Master of Social Work and Social Research degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2013 and began her career at NorthEast Treatment Centers. Robia functioned as a lead clinician at NorthEast Treatment Centers before transitioning to a primary therapist position at the Renfew Center in 2014. Robia utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy models for eating disorders and other diagnoses. Additionally, she participated in the Trauma Initiative project by the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disaAbility Services of Philadelphia, wherein she received training and supervision in Prolonged-Exposure from the University of Pennsylvania.
