Dr. Shoshilos recently completed her predoctoral internship in the Integrated Behavioral Health Track at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. During her internship, she provided psychological services across primary care, gastroenterology, and endocrinology clinics, working with children, adolescents, and families presenting with a wide range of behavioral, emotional, medical, and neurodevelopmental concerns. Her experience includes brief outpatient therapy, behavioral health consultations, pre-surgical psychological assessments, parent training, and interdisciplinary collaboration within pediatric medical settings. She also completed neurodevelopmental consultations and evaluations, working closely with families navigating concerns related to ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges.

In addition to her hospital-based training, Dr. Shoshilos completed two years of advanced clinical training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy (CCT) at the University of Pennsylvania, where she provided CBT to adults experiencing anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, personality disorders, and various life stressors. Since 2023, she has also provided psychotherapy at The Center for Hope & Health, working with individuals experiencing eating disorders, body image concerns, perinatal mental health challenges, and trauma-related difficulties. Dr. Shoshilos strives to create a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment while tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Dr. Shoshilos’s research interests focus on women’s reproductive and maternal mental health. Her dissertation examined the relationships among maternal stress, disordered eating, depressive symptoms, and infertility in postpartum women. This work earned her the David Miller, DO ’60 Endowed Memorial Research Day Award in Psychology at PCOM’s 2024 Research Day and was selected for poster presentation at the 2025 National Perinatal Association Conference. Dr. Shoshilos remains committed to integrating scientific evidence into compassionate, effective clinical care.
