Dr. Meghan Collins

Dr. Meghan Collins is a postdoctoral fellow at The Center for Hope and Health. She earned her PsyD and MS in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). Prior to her doctoral training, she received an MS in Experimental Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University.

Dr. Collins completed her predoctoral internship through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Center for Psychological Services and Main Line Health. During her internship, she provided psychotherapy in both an outpatient psychotherapy clinic and an integrated primary care setting, where she collaborated with medical providers on an interdisciplinary team to support patients’ mental and physical well-being.

In addition to her internship training, Dr. Collins completed two years of advanced doctoral training at the Center for Cognitive Therapy (CCT) at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been providing psychotherapy at The Center for Hope and Health since 2023, working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), eating disorders, and adjustment-related concerns. Dr. Collins also provides parent training for pediatric OCD and anxiety-related concerns.

Dr. Collins’ dissertation examined obsessive-compulsive symptoms in the postpartum period, with a particular focus on how these symptoms affect daily functioning and individuals’ experiences of symptom assessment and disclosure. Her clinical interests include obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, anxiety, trauma, parenting, and helping clients navigate life transitions and challenges with greater confidence, flexibility, and self-compassion.
Dr. Collins takes a collaborative, relational, and evidence-based approach to therapy. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Exposure and response prevention (ERP), working to align treatment to each client’s goals and values. She strives to create a supportive space in session where clients feel understood, challenged, and empowered to build meaningful and sustained changes in their lives.
