Erica is currently a student at Immaculata University pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has been interning at CHH since January 2020 under the supervision of Melissa Harrison. As an intern, Erica enjoys working with various populations including eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, depression, and phobias. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and uses a collaborative approach with her clients to create both a directive but warm and non-judgmental environment. Erica is passionate about helping her clients challenge themselves and explore their inner strengths in order to make the necessary changes for a happier, healthier life. Her passion for mental health stems from her advocacy and volunteer experiences with organizations such as Crisis Text Line and To Write Love On Her Arms. Upon graduation from her masters program in December 2020, Erica plans to pursue licensure to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and continue to grow as a therapist and work with clients seeking help and change.
