Shruthi Nair, M.S.

Shruthi is a first year master’s student studying counseling and mental health services at University of Pennsylvania. She has obtained her MS in Applied Pediatric Neuropsychology at the University College of London. She was given the opportunity to work at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London where she worked closely with clients suffering with brain trauma, epilepsy, ADHD, and other neuropsychological disorders. She was able to administer neuropsychological assessments under the guidance of her supervisors Dr.Sezgi Goksan and Dr.Frédérique Liegeois to measure executive function of adolescents which included memory and attention performances. She went on working with clients suffering with neuropsychological disorders in a private practice clinic under the guidance of Dr.Merlyn Hurd in NY.

       Shruthi have also worked in countries such as Nepal and Honduras working with clients suffering with depression and anxiety. Shruthi hopes that her experience working with adolescents and college aged individuals can help her in the therapy space. Her clinical interests lie in depression, anxiety, OCD, and eating disorders and she is excited to join the CHH team as a Masters Level Intern.
